Docent Volunteers

In the Docent program, volunteers are directly communicating with Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center visitors. This program is ideal for individuals who love to learn, have excellent verbal communication skills, and enjoy interacting with guests of all ages. Volunteers will be trained to utilize biofacts, animal fact handbooks, and behavioral observation to communicate effectively with guests.

Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center is a smaller facility, located on a 1-acre property, but docents will be standing and walking for a 2-hour time period. Reasonable accommodations can be made upon request.
