Range and Habitat: Macaws are found throughout South America in swampy tropical rainforests.
Macaws will stay in flocks of up to 100 and are known to be monogamous where they pair for life.
Macaws are considered frugivores and enjoy palm fruit, tree fruit, and seeds and nuts.
Fun Facts: Macaws are able to mimic different sounds. It is said that they can learn up to 15 different words and have the brain capacity of a 2-3 year old.
